This website and the t-shirts are meant for those who help the Homeless (e.g., Good Samaritans, Restaurants, Bakeries, Food Services, Non-Profits, Churches, and Charities) to change their tactics and mode of daily operation.]
Instead of giving free food to The Homeless on the streets or in the city, the general public should be wise about giving and donate to a remote location to ultimately "separate" the drugs and alcohol from the Addicted, that is, The Homeless.
A remote location will provide an automatic self-correction for the many Drug Addicts and Alcoholics who relapse as they will have to travel a distance to get free food and will again travel a distance if they do not obey the rules at the remote location.
In Summary, there are two (2) parts to this plan.
#1 - Number One, is to get the message out (via T-Shirts and advertising) and convince at least some of the public to NOT give food and other stuff like money to the Homeless on the streets. A 25% to 40% reduction in anything is significant. Hence, the Homeless will see it is not worth their time to panhandle.
#2 - Number Two is to get a "separation" message out and convince charities and non-profits to " physically separate with significant distance" the drugs and alcohol from the Addicted and Homeless.
Charities and Non-Profits have been a total failure in truly helping The Homeless and the Addicted. They too need to change their way of thinking as currently, they keep feeding the Addiction with basically free food and free shelter. Their policies like a dollar a day for shelter and food and " slap on the wrist" rules like being banned for thirty (30) days mean nothing as the Homeless simply go to another nearby shelter.
Note, one should not be surprised that many charities and non-profits are just a modern day form of the Biblical Temple Money Changers. And if you follow the money, you will not be surprised who gives money to the politicians.
GRASS ROOT APPROACH
(i.e. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO WANT TO WEAR OUR T-SHIRTS)
In other words, this is basically a grass roots approach via this website and t-shirts to get this long list of Homless Advocates (e..g., Good Samaritans, Restaurants, Bakeries, Food Services, Non-Profits, Churches, and Charities) to change their strategy and tactics when dealing with The Homeless.
